I agree with the first answer, and add that your son is in need of counseling. There are many licensed professionals to choose from: MISW (Master Independent Social Worker); LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), and Psychologists (Ph.D.). Psychiatrists are medical doctors who prescribe medications for alleviating depression and other symptoms.

If you have not already done so, I suggest you make an appointment to see one of the professional therapists listed above right away. Your family doctor can make a recommendation for you if need be.

Since children tend to be ashamed and believe that sexual abuse is their fault, be sure to support him and let him know that he is not in any way to blame for this situation.

I'm not in any way trying to minimize the seriousness of your question, but did you mean "pedophilia"? "Philadelphia" means brotherly love. Which would be correct if he was mollested by a sibling but I was seeking clarification. I'm very sorry for your family's tragedy regardless.

Do u mean paedophila? As a parent with a child in trouble,listen and always be there for them,and never forget to tell them it wasn't their fault.And remember,tell them everyday how much you love them :)
