not concentration camp in grayling closed military base for michigan national guard and air-force was move to battlecreek as well as hundreds of other military bases closed under the grante/rudman act 1989 to 1996 called for less forces in all branches 500,000 from active duty alone. less service members, less bases. now... all camps you may be thinking of are around wwii area. one i know of is now apartment complex in muskeg an Michigan, called ruttaman terrace. get your facts straight, it was used to house Japanese/ americans and yes that was wrong and they were released after the war. no bush didn't bomb pearl harbor in 1941 to have concentration camps in 2007

This isnt news. There have always been concentration camps in the United States. They were used during WW2 to house Japanese people who were considered to be enemies of the state because of Dec 7-remember? It was unforgivable then and it's unforgivable now. But-let's say for the sake of argument that they need to round up terrorists or someone else who is a danger to the country-wouldnt this be a good place to start processing them. Our prisons are over-crowded. What else would you suggest?

Doubtless I'll be labelled as paranoid for doing so.
Bush has laid out the groundwork for declaring martial law,
as I pointed out in my own question just a few days ago,but
I didn't know they had actually made prison camps as well.
Just when it looks like Bush has sunk to his lowest point,he
surprises me yet again.

I like to think that the American people would rise up in
rebellion upon such an event,but I have to say,judging from some of the answers to this question and my own,there are a lot of unsuspecting sheep out there.
