When I was growing up I was the remote control. Now that we have the gadgets when I am in a rare mood to watch television I cannot change the channels on my on television. My son is having too much fun out carousing the neighborhood and I hate to bother him so, I will ask and answer questions or go find something to read. Grrrr. Technology can be frustrating.

LOL. I can sure relate. I ALSO told my huz that if I ever got too lazy to get up and change the channel myself to just shoot me. I would have been shot years ago if I didn't hide all the guns. I can't use the DVD player, stereo, or cell phone (for messages) either, so if he croaks before I do, I'll be paralyzed with ineptitude!!

Sorry, can't agree with you on this one. I am "a little" ADD and channel surf constantly. I can't watch tv without the remote.

The funny thing is until I had a tv with a remote (around 1984) I thought only really lazy people used a remote control. LOL, the laugh is on me.

I hate a lot of inanimate objects, but remote controls usually aren't on the list. I do have 1 remote control that is continuously running away and hiding. I find it in the most unlikely places.. I think my kids are mean to it because it hides the most when they are here!

Sometimes I really hate remotes to. Like when they start screwing up when you try to turn to a channel. Once I actually threw our remote cause it made me frustrated. Technology really can be frustrating.

I love them. If I can't find the remote control, the feeling I get is worse than an itch I can't scratch - I tear the house down till I find it.

I love 'em. the more of them I have, the more in control, I seem to feel. on the table, beside of My recliner, I have one for the satellite, one for the dvd player, one for the vcr(even though it hardly ever gets used, anymore) and, one for the stereo.

I hate when people have about five or six different controllers and they're all gargantuan with about a gajillion buttons; and all for one TV. It's ridiculous.

They do get aggravating at times. I drop my remotes on the floor often.

I love them, I'm just to lazy to get up and change or push the button myself
