This question is for any mathematician who is some what like Einstein in skill. So mathematicians were you natural at math more than the average person. Or did you practice every day to be great at math like Einstein. Also if a average person is really enthusiastic about learning math then would you say that they could be as you are in the mathematics department. Thank you for any good answers that you may give.

I don't meet your qualifications, but I'll answer anyway. The people I know who are superb in abstract math have always loved math. They are playing with math all the time, not because they are practicing, but because it's fun. I know a lot more people who are scientists and engineers, and who become good at math because it's an important tool for doing what they are interested in.

What about you? If your interests are in anything technical, learn the math and play with whatever interests you. If you discover that the math excites you, go for it. If not, just learn it as a tool and see what else excites you. Science, engineering, economics, architecture, whatever.

Einstein was terrible in math. I fall into that category so I guess I am not qualified to answer.

Einstein was actually a physicist, not a mathematician.
But he was at least competent in mathematics, and was a straight-A student in all his classes.
