I can understand deletions- for repetitive and pointless vulgarity, flagrant insults, constant unmitigated criticism, or general TROLL-ishness.....

But is it really necessary to take a hard lined, "letter of the law" approach, and attempt to "sanitize" Y!A, by silencing anyone who might be considered a miscreant?

I think the newest YA! intern in charge of suspending accounts is just trying to impress the girls at Finance with his amazing powers.

But, no. Harmless goofy fun should be the wine, not the dregs, of this forum. Without it you've either got trolls or banal little refrains of "Am I pregnant?", "If your life was made into a movie, who would play you?" and "Does your avatar look like you for REAL?"

I agree with the Dalek. I think the Yamster loves trolls more than Originality.

And I'm proud to be a MISCREANT!!!!!

A wave of suspensions never was/is necessary... but everytime newbies join in - along with that new wave will come more serious cry-babies/trolls.... (my born on date is deceiving, and what not!)

This is Yahoo. Famous for it's ridiculous violation notices, failure to answer e- mail, and the list goes on.

Yes, it is. Yahoo owns the site, and they have a right to uphold their terms of service. You and I both agreed to abide by that when we opened our Yahoo accounts. We may not agree with their rules, but we all agreed we would follow them.
