why is my ipod not chargeing it just say very low battery but its been past 30 minutes in still nothing?

i dont know what to do next thats why i came here im hopeing yall can help

im, get a new one, or cant u listen to it, during it's charging?, ask the storeowners, where u got it from to help

mine did that right before it burned out. the battery started draining quickly. then i would go to charge it and got the same message. then it froze half way thru a song and that was all the wrote. it died the next day.
