I want to go to goa in mid september, probably 15th/16th September for a week or so
is this advisable?
What will the weather be like??

Goa is good all year round, even during the rains. It is the best place to be yourself on this side of the planet. So just go and chill. Enjoy the beaches, the food and yes even the rain. Don't let that dampen your spirits.

Though Goa is a fantastic place whenever you go It's better to avoid the monsoon. There will be many more mosquitos about and Malaria is a risk. Rather to go in November through to March when you will barely see a cloud, the beach shacks have been built up again and everyewhere is bustling and has an amazing atmosphere!!.
