Lindsay is suffering from a drug addiction. No matter how much they say it is due to her family the media had to do something with it. With any other person that has been arrested or has gone to rehab they aren't broadcast around the world. How will she get better if after every little thing she does we post it on websites or have paparazzi following her? Sure she is wrong for some of the choices she made but let go people. I think the rehab that she is attending should not go easier on her cause she is a celeb they should treat her just like any other person walking in the building. For her to make a full recovery I believe she needs to be low key and out of the limelight. We do not have to be posting the 911 call made when she was arrested the 2nd time for the DUI and possesing cocaine. I mean I am into reading about celebrities as much as the next person but I believe there has to be a time we say enough is enough.

Even if she cleaned up her act the media would not leave her alone. She might not be in it as much but she would still be followed. The media did not make the choices she made for her but they are to blame because they follow her every movie. She gets no privacy.

I'm sick and tired of having celebrity gossip forced on me by the media. I don't know any of these famous people so why would I need or want to know who's in jail, on drugs, in rehab, getting a divorce, etc.?
Unless the entire country stops buying magazines like 'People' and stops watching tv programs like 'Entertainment Tonight', there will always be a demand for celebrity stories and photos. Saying "enough is enough" won't make a difference because it's a big business with a lot of money changing hands.

The saddest thing of all this turmoil is that people like Lohan, Spears, and Hilton get all this attention for being nothing but an embarrassment of the American culture. What have they really done? Lohan has made good movies, but she lost her talent somewhere else. Spears lost her singing talent too. Hilton, I think she still has her whore talents that are no good.
All these young people set a bad example for our children and teenagers. The media should decide if this type of news is a good example to show on television. It is the media and the audience who decides which news is really news of interest, to learn from, and something nice to hear. Has anyone ever thought that if these "stars" stop getting attention for their drunkenness, drug problems, men problems, and showing off their body, then they probably will seek better and decent ways to get attention? We all should not buy those magazines, tune in to these programs, and ultimately not seek them in the Internet.

I think the media and public should leave her alone.....as soon as she pays all of us back for movies and magazines we have wasted to make her a celebrity.
She signed on for it...if you can't take the game then get off the field. Not everyone goes through their addiction publicly, some celebrities have class and they fall off the face of the earth for a while and come back once they are clean.

YEAH!!! The media drives people insane. She might have had some idea that the media was going to be in her face, but she probly didn't know that it would be this much, I think that one of the only ways she can get better is to dissapear for a while and relax.

personally i think the media should leave everyone alone. it's noone's business what anyone else is going through. celebrity or average person. i could care less if someone is dumb enough to drink and drive no matter who they are. if they are that stupid then they deserve whatever happens.

I couldn't agree with you more. They need to cut that family some slack especially Lindsay. Her parents need to butt out and stop doing interviews with the media.I stopped watching some of the talk shows because of their obsession with this young lady.
