Snakeheads are illegal in the US. You will not be able to find them without breaking the law. No respectable fish store will sell you one because they are not going to risk selling one to you. So that leaves you with the black market.

Don't do it! They get two feet long or more they cost bunches to feed and require very large tanks all to themselves. They should be outlawed in every state,instead of most of them like they are now. The fact that you asked the question illustrates the fact that you lack the skills to keep such a nasty fish.
