Would a ProX ALLOY 140cc PIT DIRT BIKE MOTOR THUMPSTAR be any good for Moto X?

Thanks for the information. It makes sense that it will not compete in moto X. I was thinking more as a starter into the offroad area for my boys. Can you suggest places in and around Brisbane, I live half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

"pit" is the key word here..... not enough power or size to run on the track with the big boys. Get a dirt bike mag and check it out. They are just for errand running and such it the pits before, during, and after races.

However, there are plenty of places to race a pit bike. I think theres even a National Pit Bike Racing series.

Is it considered Motocross? No. But it is still a blast to watch. Have fun!

Well said above.

Pit bikes are just for mucking about.

MX bikes are the real deal. Hence why you dont see Pit bikes racing against MX bikes

pit bikes are for the "pits"
you ride 'em around to like trailer to trailer.
their usually the small bikes to mess around with. that's what me and my brother do at his races.

and you save the big bikes to winn!
