Yes but it is going to take a while to shake off the rust. If you could play for a local team first to get back into it that would be good.

I would have to think that it would depend on the size of the school. A really big school would likely already have a lot of prospects lined up and your chances might be poor for making the team. I've never played college sports but we have a lot of people at the office that play in local baseball leagues and I know that catcher is not usually a highly desired position so I think your chances with a smaller college are probably pretty good. In either case if you love the game you should go for it. Whats the worst that could happen? If you don't at least try out you will always wonder if you could have made it.

Of course you do...but you have to be good. Go talk with the coach, and find out when they hold tryouts for the team. Granted, there will be lots of players on scholarship and returning...so there might not be many slots open. But every single college out there has had walk-ons make the team at one time or another....
Good luck!

Yes. You have experience with the game and your are giving it another shot. Keep up the work outs and then try out. I'm sure you will make the team.

It all gets down to how good you are and if your able to help the team. At your age your skills should be able to be re ignited back to 100% of what you were. If you were good enough to play three years ago you should be good enough now, once you are back in shape.
