Well i returned the mouse because i felt guilty. But it was a big risk to put it back were it was without nobody seeing me.

I've stolen big, little, and in between size stuff. I think I spent the ages of 13-18 as a klepto. Then I got caught when I was 18 shoplifting (the first time in all those years), and had to serve 9 days in county jail. That cured me from shoplifting real fast. The consequences as an adult are not fun. lol.

Why would you:
a) Steal. That's wrong, and you know it.
b) Take something that you didn't intend to pay for?
c) Possibly hurt an innocent animal?
d) Risk getting caught/arrested?
What you did was both illegal and wrong. You should return to that shop, no matter how long ago, apologize, and pay for what you took. It wasn't yours to take! How would you feel if I walked in your room and "stole something small"?

When I was a kid (very young and many years ago) we had this general store around the corner from us. They had this little baby bottle there that I wanted for my doll. I took it and hid it under my arm. Naturally my mother caught me and made me return it and apologize to the store owner. I never stole anything since then.

Yes. A pack of gum. I used to be a thief stealing from WalMart and KMart. Legos mostly. But I would also steal often from Convenient stores.
I gave that up though once I was caught. I was 16! :)

Yes when I was about 8 .I stole a can of shrimp after my mother said no .
She caught me ,pulled down my pants in front of everyone and spanked my butt.
The worst part was ,she made me tell the Manager I stole it .
I NEVER touched another thing .
So the old-time disipline did Work !!

I was about 11 and pinched some chewing gum from a shop, not having the sense I was born with I went home chewing the gum. My Mum asked me where I got it from and I told her! She marched me back to the shop and told them to call the police! They didnt but I learned a valuable lesson that day I can tell you ;o)

I stole stuff when I was a real little kid, maybe its natural for little kids, anyway I got straightened out on it and have not stolen anything at all since I was about age 5 or so.
