What could you do for a 14 year olds party?

Do a papier mache sleepover and make all kinds of creative stuff.

Have a scavenger hunt: divide your guests into 2 or 3 groups and give each group a list and digital or polaroid camera. Have them go around the neighborhood collecting the items/photos on the list. Just make sure you check with neighbors first, maybe have them leave on the porch light if they'll play along.

Make fluff flops! Buy some flipflops (they're 2 for 5$ @ Old Navy- and they last a long time!) and tie strips of fleece or other fabric about 5 in. long and 2 in wide around the straps! They always look really cute :-)

if it's a gurl and only gurls- a trip to the local mall along with a trip to the movies and end it with a sleep over (by the way if your not really REALLY....close to your daughter don't stick around let them have privacy

a gurl(co-ed)- i'd throw her a big party ..even better if it was a pool party and even better if you hired a dj :)

a guy(only guys)- take them to six flags or sumthing extreme

a guy (co-ed)- totally give him a banging party with dj (most necesarry let it be and a big place and have him chose everything cuz you can never trust a prent on knowing what you want

Is it in the summer.. you can a lot of great Hawaiin Luau stuff..or get them in like a grease mode..do a 50's sock hop party.. Make them wear hawaiin or 50's outfits..if you do a sock hop you can videotape them dressed up singing an oldies hit like earth angel and songs like that.. You can have the best Elvis impersonator contest...

let them make a scrapbook of the party , take pictures, write poetry, give them makeup and let them fix each other up. Let them dress-up in hip clothes or in 50's , 60's or 70's clothes and let them see what it was like to be in that era. Have a pool party just for girls or a sleep over and watch movies, eat popcorn,brownies. Or let them ( with help ) cook a elegant dinner for themselves.

14 year olds don't want creative parties. they just want to have their friends sleep over and stay up all night acting crazy. Just give them, some games like twister and monoply or yahtzee to play and let them go have fun.

fo my 14 it was my favorite. it was at the end of our 8th grade so we all wanted to have a like a pig out hang out kind of thing. so we rented a bunch of movies ALL kinds and got TONS of food..we put pillows and blankets and everything in front of the tv and all slept together. we stayed up till like 8am. in the course of the night. we went out in the neighboor hood and played flashlight tag. we also just played a bunch of fun stuff we used to do as kids. this next thing we did i am not saying do it but it was so fun,.. PRANK PHONE CALLS! we had a blast. sad thing is, we never kept in contact. but that was the funnest birthday.

for a girl: minigolf, bowling, karoke night, waterpark, amusement park, barbeque in the park, movie night.

*for my 14 b-day party a we went to a salon and got up-dos and manicures, then we went to get pictures at a professional photo place.
