Snape is obligated to perform the task with the Killing Curse following a "Severus... please..." from Dumbledore

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince... Why did Dumbledore ask Snape to kill him with the killing curse? Why did Dumbledore want to die?

He was going to die anyway. Remember he put on the ring that had the horcux in it, because he wanted to use the stone (one of the 3 hallows to bring people back to life, probably to bring his sister back to life) but part of Voldemort's soul was in it and it basically infected his whole body. Snape told him he only had a year to live-Draco's soul wasn't affected by killing anyone yet and Dumbledore wanted to save him from that & since Snape had already killed he told Snape to kill him. I imagine the ...Severus please is misinterpreted by us to mean that he was pleading for his life, however Snape was hesitating a little waiting to long I think that Dumbledore is telling him to do it, so that Draco can't.

The question is whether Dumbledore was asking or begging for his life. That will answer the question of whether Snape is a good guy or a bad guy.
