We all know an impeachment doesn't do much except give the administration a black eye. But, this censure talk I'm reading about on the net... just exactly what "punishment" does this do, or is it just more Washington theatrics?

Impeachment is a trial. That's all, just a trial.

It's only a black eye (and often not even that) if the person is found not guilty. If the person is convicted, it's pretty serious in terms of the possible effects.

Censure is a public statement that Congress doesn't like the President. Other than being listed in Congressional Records, it has no force and effect -- same as any other non-binding resolution.

It's purely a political statement, comparable to a company issuing a press release.

Do not waste time on censure or impeachment. Instead, let's make sure we get a truly great next President who will get a REAL investigation into Bush later ---but who also can clean up the huge mess he caused as well. I suggest Ron Paul...a man made out of Founding Father material who could win and really restore our Republic.

None.
It is a Hoax.
Bush has done nothing to be Impeached for, or Censured for.

Democrats in Congress are trying anything to keep the little Welfare Democrats in line.
Trying to get them excited about the next election.
I'm sure you didn't fall for it.

None.
Seriously, absolutely nothing.
I guess it gives the media something to talk about.

Washington D.C. needs an enema. Quickly.
