Yes I always sample any fruit that I buy at a grocery store. If it
is good fruit then I buy some, if it is not a paid for what I eat,
whatever it is; apples, grapes, plums

Of course I have. How do you know you want the whole bundle without trying one? If they are awful, I'm not buying them.
I figure if I have a whole cart of groceries, they aren't going to arrest me for one grape. Nor would I care if I were selling grapes if people tried one to see if they want them.

when I worked in a grocery store I never had to buy grapes =)

Of course, that's why I taste them, to see if they are any good or not.
But I have to tell you a story about my daughter when was about 3. We were shopping and she was saying that that green stuff was really good (she was out on the front of the cart, hanging on so I didn't really pay attention to what she was doing). So I asked her what green stuff?
And she pointed to the bunch of asparagus that was in the cart and she had eaten all the tips off every stalk.
Well, I said I guess we will have to buy them for sure now.

I just started doing that, I was afraid before I thought security would come up to me, but now I have no problem, because you should taste it grape before you buy it.

I only eat a grape if I plan on buying them. Otherwise, imo, it's considered stealing.

I have never done that. I have done a lot of things that were wrong in my life, but that is not one of them. I always shop for my groceries, pay for my groceries and then eat my groceries. For some reason or other that is one of my pet peeves.
