It really does depend on the relationship. I have been with my husband for five years. I married him at 16. We have a 3 year old daughter. I know people will say that you miss out on life, and you haven't lived life yet...but what is life if you can't live it with the one you love!?

I'm glad that I am sharing my life with my husband...we are not missing out...we have a great time together, and with our daughter, and our friends. We are living life with each other....and I'm happy...do what is good for you....not for anyone else.

I got married when I was 17 and my hubby was 19. We're happily married...4 years and going strong. I do think that when you're young and married you have a lot of things to deal with because of the age...but, I am a prime example that despite of all the hardships that may come your way that being young and married is possible....If you love him with all your heart and you know he feels the same about you let your heart be the guide...Blessings to you and soon to be hubby...maybe :-)

YES! I married at 19, we had 3 kids by the time I was 22....then we struggled along for 24 years before finally divorcing.

No matter HOW much in love you are, the years between 18 & 25 bring a LOT of personal growth, and couples your age rarely grow at the same pace--which means they grow apart.
Better to just live together until you are absolutely SURE you belong together.

That's one way to tell true love---it is patient.

Yes, 18 years old is to young to get married. You have your whole life in front of you. Once you are married it is forever. Learn to life a little first on your own, come and go as you please, pay your bills and buy what you want, save for future. Stay single. You should not get married until at least 30 - 35 years of age!

Not too young to get married, but probably too young to stay married.

Finish college or trade school and a few years at a job. Save a little money; at least own your cars free and clear. Then plan a wedding you can remember for its pictures, not the bills that follow.

I was married at 18 and only 3 months out of high school. Was not a decision looking back that I would make again. It ruined us and we are getting divorced.
