Peppermint tea is fine, so is spearmint and rosehip and ginger (good for nausea). Raspberry leaf tea is a common herbal tea recommended during pregnancy but not until the last few weeks (it helps to strengthen the muscles of the uterus) Pennyroyal is a mint relative that is NOT recommended during pregnancy (it encourages uterine contractions).
ALL TEAS ARE NOT FINE!!! Just because something is herbal or "natural" doesn't render it harmless - some of the most powerful and deadly drugs are plant based. Make sure you know what you're drinking, don't drink "herbal blends" unless you know all the ingredients. Tansy, rue, pennyroyal - these are all natural abortificants that are common herbs.
Good luck

Yes!
It's perfectly fine to drink peppermint tea-I was advised to drink it as its a good digestion aid and can help to soothe heartburn.
Plus there's no caffeine in it, so it's not bad for you in any way.
Regular peppermint tea from peppermint teabags (such as TyPhoo, Twinings and other brands you can get from the supermarket) are all fine.
My midwife advised I try it and it helped me out-stopped me needing to take Gaviscon as much thats for sure!!

Drinking peppermint tea daily reduces the testosterone in your blood system. That is why I drink it because the problem with excessive hair growth goes away. I don't think this is a problem if you have a girl, but I know it affects men (lower libido).

It's fine. I had a cold when I was in my first trimester, and my midwife said it was safe to drink. I'm glad there's something that works for you!

I'd check with your doc - some mints are abortifacients - ONLY SOME - NOT ALL! And then I think it is in quite large doses. But still worth checking!
