After I filed for divorce, my EX cried with tears saying he didn't want to be divorced. That was in May 2005. Once again, he stated to me in June 2006 that he didn't want to be divorced. In Sept 2006, his mom stated that he has a girlfriend for the last 9 months. During those months we were still seeing each other. In July 2007, I was told he no longer lives with his girlfriend but that doesn't mean he still has that girlfriend. I had to divorce him due to Spousal Abuse and his drug addiction. Should I believe his mom or his words?

You need to just leave him alone and pray that he finds someone else that way he will never abuse you again.

Who cares...You're already divorced. He's an X for a reason, isn't he? He probably knows what he had and knows what he did and he feels guilty somewhat and he wants you to feel sorry for him in a sick way. Why would you want a man who is abusive?

You are divorced from this guy, don't worry about believing anyone, just forget about him all together. You will be back where you were in 2005 if you keep holding on. He hasn't changed.
