Ok I wear eyeliner on bottom of my eye and I want to start putting it on the top of my eye but it never seems to turn out very good. Give me some tips so that it will look good or some pictures. Also I have blue eyes and Im sick of wearing black eyeliner. What other colors would look good? Thanks!

I stretch the outside cornor of my eye with my finger so the skin on top is smooth and stiff (i gues u would say) and then i use a black eyeliner because that brings out the eyes from the face giving you more of a serious seductive look. But since you are tired of black try maybe a slate or brown. Slate would look awsome with blue eyes. :)

I found that using cake eyeliner with a very fine makeup brush and keeping it close to my lashes is the best for me. I have more control using the fine brush. Eyeliners that come in a tube have brushes that are too wide for me, and pencil nearly always comes out wrong when I use it. It's worth a try for you.

You don't say what color your hair is, but I use black when I want a hard look, and brown and green (but I have green eyes) when a softer look is required. Experiment with different colors and see what look you like the best....or maybe use a different color as the mood strikes you.

when you are putting it on the top eye (This is for inside of the lid where the eyelashes are) I put the pencil right there and close my eye and go along the line. A good color for blue eyes is dark blue or brown.

If you and the liner on the top lid get liquid eyeliner and pull your eye toward your ear and draw a thin line close to your eye lashes. if you use the liquid eyeliner its easy to fix if you mess up, just keep a wet Q-tip or some wet toilet paper close by to touch it up.

apply foundation 1st then dust some loose powder.
take liquid eyeliner and apply from inside towards the outer corners. lower ur gaze but keep looking straight into the mirror by raising ur hwead a bit. u can extend it a bit to give more dramatic look and also make it a bit thicker at the centre
use electric blue for a mischivious look or blue black for a subtle look

try all colors. remember that light colors go on the top, and dark on the bottom. when you put it on the top, pull the corner of your eye to give you a wider range to draw. it gives the color a smooth rich look. on the bottom, dont put it in your eye. it leads to eye infections, and red eye. also, dont use anyone else eyeliner. try to sharpen it every two weeks. it reduces the ammount of bacteria on the pencil. if you have anymore make-up questions, you can e-mail me at

if you want a harsher look, try using a bluish colored eyeliner. apply it to the ends of your eye to make your eye look bigger. Apply it INTO the eyelash line. It will make your lashes appear longer and thicker too. If you want a softer and more feminine liner, DON"T use liner INSTEAD, use an angular brush and wet it. Dip it into a color of ur choice and apply it the same way you would apply your eyeliner (above).

brown would look good with blue eyes, and some of that grey or silver from rimmel london. you should pull your eye out to the side like put your finger on the outer corner and pull that gently. then get as close to you can to the lash line. dont worry, its easier than it sunds and is easier than doing the bottom. then you rub your finger over it to smudge it so anything you didnt do right will be covered up.hope this helps.

Okay, when you are putting it on just pull the bottom of your eye away from the eye itself and then make a straight like across the bottom. For colors you can try brown, that works with lighter eye colors like blue.

Pull your eyelid gently (towards your ears) so you have a flat surface. Rest your hands or some of your fingers on your nose while you apply it to the top lid. It will help keep your hand steady and give you a good line.

If you have blue eyes, wear darker and brighter colors. It will bring out the color.
