It comes on every 25 hrs. A service reminder. I reccommend you get it serviced but if you want the MAINT reminder to go away, just hold down the set button for about 5 seconds while its on .

Sea doo uses this in order for you to remember to have it looked at periodically. Think first 10 hrs, then 50, then 100, then every 50 after. Yes, hold the set button for 5 seconds and it should go away but get it looked at. No oil to change because it is 2-stroke; Sea-Doo didn't make 4-strokes until 2002. Mainly you would just be changing plugs, cleaning raves (if you have them), changing filters, lube and grease. Probably pump oil change also. Make sure to get your fuel lines changed if they are grey. Heard they were bad.

As Manufacturers realize people know less and less of mechanics they utilize the on-board computer to advertise and get people to spend money. Most vehicles from cars to lawnmowers require oil changes and tune ups etc. When we, as the consumer not do these things the Dealers will for big bucks. The computer help scare us to believe we really need to take it to the dealer.

Oil change and tune up. Unhook the battery for 5 seconds and see if that resets the computer.

Just go and get it checked, but try and ask someone else you know first that knows a thing or two about jetskis; much cheaper!
