Yes. And if there's nothing to read, the back of a can of Ajax will do.

All quantum physicists lock the door regardless. That way you create your own schrodinger cage in which, as far as an outsider observer is concerned, you might be taking a crap or you might not be taking a crap. keeping the door locked preserves the wave function and saves about 50% of the loo roll. Conversley by locking the door you also turn everything outside the loo into a schrodinger cage where there might or might not be someone else in the house.

What does this have to do with pregnancy?
But no, I don't lock the door even if there is someone else in the house. If they are someone I'd be willing to let into my house, I probaby wouldn't die of humiliation if they happened to walk in on me in the bathroom. Furthermore, a closed door should be sufficient for letting people know a household bathroom is occupied.
In other peoples houses, however, and public bathrooms, its a different story.

No, I don't think I even shut the door all the way. The only time I ever lock it is if my boyfriend and I have company over.

No.

As a matter of fact, I have to leave all the doors open in the house or my cat scratches like mad on the door and screeches to be let in.

In the bathroom, I have to "give her drops" (my mom's term)--that is, turn on the bathtub faucet at a drip so she can drink from it and play with the water with her little kitty paws.

Pesky.

I mean, it's kinda cute...but it's pesky.

There's no privacy with Kitty around.

I don't!! I'm never home alone I always have my kids with me but I never close the door. It's even become a habit that I don't even close the door when my husbands home. Unless you know I'm going to be in there for a while!

No. Sometimes I forget to close the door. I'm always aware of my surroundings and whose around, so if there is a need I will lock the door.

I usually leave the door open if I'm home alone, but if I take a shower when I'm home alone I feel creeped out if I leave the bathroom door open or unlocked, it has to be shut and locked.

Whatever! I have a 3 year old. I'm never alone in the house, and if I did shut the door she'd be crying on the other side anyway.

No and it usually ends up open even if other people are home because the little dog that lives in our house is nosey and always comes in ... so maybe I should start locking it.
