They tend to move less once they start getting bigger(less room to move) My midwife use to make me keep a kick count. at least 10 kicks in an hour. You should be starting to go weekly now, but if you have any doubts or concerns bring them to your midwife and get check.. . you never can be too safe.

Good Luck!

hi sam ,im jah, to answer ur ques.(by the way i have 4 kids and my youngest is 2yrs and my oldest is 11yrs),ur baby is growing tremendously, and havent got much room so it may be difficult 4 him to kick and roll over the way in the past. as long as thers some movement in the last 24hrs u guys r fine.did u knw that 1 turn tires him out almost 4 the day??? also if ur close 2 ur due date he should be head dwn an his feet in ur ribs(truthfully speaking),hes ready 2 come out and thats y hes not moving as much.and as 4 ur doctor, they should knw that if the heart beat is not able to be found then he may be face dwn so it makes it sometimes impossible to locate.if eva u got any doubts that ur not getting the best possible care of ur satisfaction then change ur midwife or upgrade 2 a prenatal /pediatrics doc .Now if u knw 4 a fact he hasent moved 4 24hrs then drink some ice cold water(full glass),wait a while and if still nothing, then contact ur doc.Hope i have helped a little bit at least and feel free!!!(-:

at 36 weeks he is probably just running out of room or getting himself ready to greet the world. I wouldnt worry. Most women experience this. Think about how very little room he has in there to move around in. Chin up, he'll be here soon hon!

If you aren't having much movement from your baby and you're more than 36 weeks, you could be getting ready to go into labor. I would call the doctor, but most babies don't move as much before they're born.

Biggest thing is no blood !! don't worry about feeling movement everyday. Because my partner could go 3 to4 days without our daughter moving. as for your midwife incompetence is everywhere.. thankfully she was not your normal midwife and with luck you wont see her again.. Stay calm..

ther could be something wrong witht he baby. or he could jsut be lazy. lol it happenes sometimes. my second son was less activ also. from what u say aboutt hat midwife i would go to the hospital or find annother one fast cause if thay dont know what thay are doing thay could kill u or even worse thay could kill ur baby
