Jasper is still fairly popular. If you watch the entire credits of every movie you watch (even if it's on DVD) like me, then you'll see plenty of weird names and Jasper often comes up, like the guy who plays Bo in 'Theif Lord'. My sister wrote a book with the name 'Jespar', which just switches some of the letters around. I think Jasper is a really cool name.
I have never really heard of anyone called Horace, and it's a bit of a crude name in my opinion. So yes, sort of, to Jasper and no to Horace.

Im not so keen on Horace but I love the name Jasper. I thought about calling my youngest son that but nearlly everyone I asked put me off it. I think Jasper is cool in a geeky-posh kind of way. Personally when I hear the name Horace it just conjures up the image of a fat sweaty boy with round glasses and greasy hair, sorry to any Horaces out there!!

I think in England they are.

Did you get Jasper and Horace from '101 Dalmations'? I love that movie :).
