proublem with a sl70 k1?

Question

my sl70 k1 use to run great. like for exsample when i started out in and gear it would take off/ but now it is like a thumper i had this proublem once before and it was elticral and i cleaned it out and it ran great again. But now i had to rewaire the whole bike and it is still thumping and backfiring

Clean the points with "flex stone" and "contact cleaner" (available at auto parts stores).
Then adjust the points and timing.
