Why it is that the younger generation like to have sex but then don't want to get married, even when they have children outside of marriage?
Doesnt it seems like nobody gets married anymore? Why is this?

because people can have sex and family without sacrificing their individuality and tis not taboo anymore. and soo many divorces means marriage isn't working. but personally i have a great marriage and don't believe in sex outside of marriage. That's why mine is successful.

Hmm, I don't think you have been around my area at all. From the burbs of columbus, ohio just to let you know. And here, its the classic case of the girls getting knocked up and they do get married all of them before 25. I even have friends with no kids, wanting to get married right now. I mean I'm only 20. Just graduated high school 2 years ago. I really really would love to move some place where the young women had something more on their minds. I mean I used to want to find someone and be in a relationship. But marriage now is waaaaay too young for me. I even have a few online gfs that are talking about marriage. Again early 20's. I even had one that was so desperate to marry someone she dumped a dude she met off a dating site and after he pressured sex on her and she gave it up, she flipped the script on him and pressured him into trying to get an engagment ring. And a few days ago she told me she broke up with him for not having any drive in getting her a ring. I also just posted yesterday that a male friend moved across the country to shack up with his gf and her parents while they save for a house and are getting married in the spring. He just turned 22 around the 5th of June. So where ever you are living tell me and I we can seriously switch places.

I personally feel that our previous generations failure at marriage made a huge impact on our current generation. Now, people look back at their parents and wonder why they should even bother being committed to someone if the odds are against them. Also, our society advertises sex and infidelity all the time. You see it on television and you hear it on the radio. Don't get me wrong, it is ultimately up to the individual as to whether or not their relationship or marriage will succeed. But it certainly doesn't help to have so many distractions and temptations to misguide people.

People have been waiting a bit longer in life to get married but I believe recent studies indicate that the divorce rate is dropping and the marriage rate slightly increasing. The total amount of married households has dropped because of immigration and the aging of ther population. (one spouse dies and does not remarry)

That's really a deep question that simply can't be answered in a few sentences. The advent of television and movies hasn't helped things a whole lot, and the decade of the 60's definitely took its toll on destroying family living. As the family nucleus continues its downward spiral of dissipation our society likewise continues to plummet on a dangerously degenerative course. Are we living in the end-times? I don't know, but I do agree with his holiness Pope John Paul II that we are currently living in the culture of death.

It's not just "the younger generation". Not everyone WANTS to get married. I did it once but will never do it again. Some of us prefer our own lives but that doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy sex. One doesn't HAVE to be married to have sex. They just have to be mature enough to be responsible for the consequences of their actions.

Yes, smart responsible people get married before having children, because they do not want their kids to be bastards. It is the right thing to do.

People take drugs a lot nowadays, does that mean it is right? NO

Most of the people that I know are married. A VERY small minority are doing the "baby's daddy" crap.

Cause nowadays nothing is sacred anymore :( I think the divorce rates discourage a lot of people, and those who aren't discouraged are in a rush and end up settling for the first person who'll commit, "till cheating do us part" :-\
