Sadly, yes. LOL My mom's neighbor--she never stops. And she "knows everything". She can carry on a conversation with one person, while at the same time listen to other conversations around her--and never fail to butt in and have something to say about it too. I can only be around her for about five minutes. She a nice woman with a generous heart, but it's always overshadowed by her mouth.

I have been with people whom, short of saying hello, nodding uh huh, mmm hmm, yep, yep...thanks for having us...barely gotten two words in.
And if I ever attempted to, I would be interrupted because whatever it was I had to say simply could not be as interesting as what they had to say.
These pretty well are my in laws...whom short of being full of hot air and booze 24/7 have nothing more than the same old stories to repeat over and over and over every time we go there.
Did I tell you.....(only a dozen times)...and if its not this story it's another--so let's see what she's added to it this time....LOL
THAT said...when I am finally with people who actually want to listen to what I HAVE TO SAY....I must say I am a motor mouth...being home alone working pretty well 7 days a week doesn't leave me a whole lot of time to spend with (GOOD!!!) company often.
(PS I could easily be that neighbour Beanos is talking about too...LOL)
I think as you get older, you don't have as many people to talk to either...especially the elderly (which I am smack in the midst of where I live) so I always make time to listen unless it's just whining that they are doing! LOL They're good people and sometimes have some very interesting insights.
I really do hate the type that run on and on and on about real nonsense however....who just love the sound of their own voices (aren't I just wonderful!)...I always love looking at the bored and run down looks on their poor hubbies faces too. Dunno how they've survived all those years. LOL

My mother-in-law. Oh My Gosh! You could have just had surgery and she'll go on and on and on about nothing and never ask about you or let you get a word in edgewise. And lucky me. Her husband and 3 sons love to go off sneak off by themselves and leave me with her at family gatherings because I am the only other woman in the family!

My sister-in-law ! Thank God I only see her maybe 2-3 times
a year !
The thing about her is that when she runs out of things that we know to be the truth, she turns into a pathological liar to
make things sound even better !

I married into that family just keep a few strangers near by! Talkers always gravitate towards new victims I mean people for their stories... o_O

my best friend is hyper and talks alot all the time but i can get realy hyper (like after drinking 5 cups of coffee) and talk for hours not stop

Yeah, i do. i talk alot, but not quite as much as she does. then when i asked her politely to shut up...she told me i was heartless....she could have came up with something better but hey, it was still rude. :)
