he is your husbands STEPSON has he adopted your son legally ( IE all the paper work and recorded at the court and registrar ) in other words has your son taken and using his surname, if not then your husband has no legal right to be informed of the outcome of your interview, unless you wish to tell him or invite him to sit in on the interview that is up to you, but you can refuse to let him in the interview and the social worker should ask you this if they don`t then mention it, but if the interview is about your husbands behaviour towards your son don`t you think that your son will feel intimidated by his presence in the interview, sounds like you have two children on your hands not one, good luck

First, they have a prima facia hearing for the original detention within 72 (working) hours of the child's detention. After that, they schedule another hearing where you and your husband will sit down with the CPS worker and the mediator, and they will try to get him to agree that he violated one of the H&W 300 child abuse codes. If he agrees to the charge, you may not find out the information. If you decide to go to trial and fight the charges, you'll get all the information in discovery, because you're attorney will need to mount a defense for you. Now, if the reporter was truly anonymous (made the report by phone and refused their identity), he may still never learn who turned him in, if that's what he wants to know.

Anything you say in the interview will be in the strictest confidence and is not subject to the freedom of information act.
This is especially true around vulnerable individuals such as children.
They will explain all of this to you at the interview before you say anything.
Social Services will tell your husband nothing as it is a breach of confidentiality.
Good Luck

It's confidential and you could need to be careful that they don't do you for failing to protect....if you stand by your husband and he is found to be abusive etc....then you are classed as bad ads he is.

He cannot, unless he kidnaps the case worker and beats the information out of him.
