1. My heart says that Priest is back and will run all over the AFC West, but my head says he doesn't have much left in the tank. If it's a ploy to get LJ to camp, I'd laugh. He's been a baby his whole career.
2. The Royals will finish 5th. As much as I'd like to see them pass the White Sox...I don't think it's going to happen.
3. Huard will start the season...after 6 games they start Croyle.
4. I think Soria will close. I don't know why. He's just better out of the bullpen.
5. I think Elerton will go to another team.

1) No. I think Priest really does want to come back and play. If it gets LJ into camp faster, well, that's just a bonus.

2) 4th place. We'll have sole possession of 4th by the end of the series we have with White Sox at the end of August (starts August 20th I think)

3). I don't think anybody in the Chiefs organization even knows this yet. I went to the mini camps early this summer and Croyle looked pretty good. I figure the only way Huard is the starter when the season starts is if Croyle just looks really bad during training camp and the pre season games.

4) Somebody will pick up Dotel, I'm sure of it. After that Soria will be the closer. Greinke doesn't have the mind set it takes to be a closer. As a closer you have to be tough mentally and be able to shake off a bad outing and come back out the next night to shut a team down. Greinke has proved throughout his career that he can't do that - even with 5 days to forget about it.

5) Elarton is gone, he's already been released. You won't see him in a Royals uniform at any level again. He had the option of going back down to AAA Omaha but he said no. Somebody else will pick him up, he'll probably be given a deal like Shea Hillenbrand was looking at where he'll get a minor league contract with the promise that he'll be called up to the majors within a certain amount of time

1) Yea priest is a pawn, he just wants some love on HBO.

2) 4th they are playing better then the sox

3) Croyle, who know he could be great if he can stay healthy. Croyle gives them the best chance to be a great team. He also gives them a chance to be a really bad team too. WHo knows how he will do. If Huard starts they are a mediocare team.

4) Grienke hopefully we can find him a role for years to come, they need to decide where he fits in the picture.

5) I could see Elarton signed to a minor league deal next year for camp.

Speaking of the Kansas City Chiefs..........

Anybody wanna buy two San Diego Charger #59 Donnie Edwards jerseys (throwback and home)? Now that he was traded BACK to Kansas City they do me absolutely no good.
