a=15, b=4, c=-4
you can use "product/sum" method
product: 10*-6 =-60 (a*c)
sum: 10+-6 = 4 (b)

rewrite as 15y^2+10y-6y-4
group first 2 terms and second 2 terms; factor common term
5y(3y+2)-2(3y+2)
(3y+2)(5y-2)
