Should be arrested for child abuse and abandonment?

Just like most of the ppl who go on reality shows...the kids are professional actors and the parents wanted to get them camera time. I don't care what anyone says...you know...because of the child labor laws that govern Hollywood....the parents are standing off to the side. Any child...under the age of 18....if they are on a t.v. show...has to have a guardian with them at all times.

No. I'd bet some of the parents of those kids are near by. You may only see the kids in front of the camera. There are adults behind the camera that you wont see. They have to be there to "make the film". Nothing "real bad" is going to happen to those kids. Whatever "bad" that happens will more than likely be "staged" and not real.
Reality TV isn't real. So much of it is staged and done just to create drama so people will watch it. If the producers allowed things to go as it happened, they would end up with boring shows that no one would watch. Therefore, they add drama. Its either scripted or they add the drama in the editing of what the viewer sees. There is a lot of power in editing the hours and hours of footage they have. They need the viewers to like or dislike whats going on so they will watch to see what happens.

No! Hopefully the kids had a choice and they weren't just kicked out of their homes for a couple months. I wanted to apply for the 2nd season, but it tapes during the school year and I don't want to miss all the work.

I don't know--it hasn't aired yet.
I think it would probably be a really good "scared straight" type program for troublemakers, judging strictly by the commercials. And also a good way to "un"spoil a bratty kid.

no, because remember: they have the camera people, and the editors, etc. that will be there 24/7.
if something really bad did happen, they could call 911 easily. They are not ever alone.
