Hey i right now have 2x 512MB of Corsair DDR2-800 overclocked to DDR2-933. Im looking to buy 2x 1GB of Corsair DDR2-800 and plan to give it the same overlclock. Would having 2x 512MB + 2x 1GB in my computer slow it down. I have the Asus P5B deluxe motherboard with Intel P965 chipset.

First guy was just plain wrong. As long as they are all the same speed, and in this case the same manufacturer, they will run in dual channel mode even though one is a pair of 1GB stick and the other is a pair of 512MB sticks.

No problem because you've got 2 matched pairs. Just make sure you put them on the right slots (same color per pair) so that they will still run in dual channel mode.

Yes it will slow it down because the 4 won't be able to work in Dual Mode. You have to have all 4 in matching pairs...exact type size, speed, etc...
You'd be better off pulling the 2 512 cards and just using the 2x1Gb cards together.
