I am only fourteen and haven't done any acting pieces, really. I did a few skits in school drama class, and my teachers really like it. I always had good grades. I know I have to start small, but I dont know how to put together a resume without showing any acting experiences. Can somebody help me put one together?

If you need more details, email me at Dr.Shadowlass@googlemail.com, please!!

It all boils down to training and experience...The more you have to list, the better you look on paper. Have no experience or training? Go get some....

Baby steps...

Don't "Make Stuff Up" as some have suggested. List what ever experience you have. As you gain experience and credits, you can delete the less valuable "Fluff" and demonstrate depth and growth.

Don't worry about starting out without one... we all have to start somewhere.

Try a simple "Google" search using the keywords Actors Resume.... you'll find lots of helpfull information

Here's the first one I found

http://lecatr.people.wm.edu/yourresume.html

There are plenty more resources out there...

good lucky

I would suggest following a standard type of format until you can learn better. Place your name, address, and contact information centered on the top. Below that, you can group education, experience, any honors or recognition, and any hobbies. This should be evenly spaced, with section headers centered above each section. A good practice is to place the section you want people to pay the most attention to starting just above center on the page, as people will take the page, look in the middle, then go to the top and work their way down - therefore hitting that area twice.Pay VERY close attention to detail, do not make any spelling or grammar errors, as that sends a message as well - just as any errors send a negative message, as well as breaking the flow of the person reading your resume. Some people will suggest you should state a goal right under your personal information up top, such as "I wish to gain experience as an actor through various mediums."

I dont know if you can really put a resume together without actually performing pieces and being in competitions and such. perhaps you can list the experience youve had and where youve had it. then build from there

We cannot help you. We do NOT live in your city. Please, don't ask us, ask someone inyour city.

We do NOT know the style of acting resume, used in the city where you live.

You must ask your actor friends or Acting Teacher to give you a copy of a resume, that is used in the where you live and want to perform.

I'm sorry, sweetie, but this is NOT where you get that type of help.

The way we write resumes in NYC is not going to help you in the city where YOU live.
