Looting is for criminals. I would do whatever I could to help the police, like shoot the looters (only in their feet though to hobble them and if I missed their feet I would aim for the nads.)

I could not loot---my conscience is like cogs on a wheel, and with each infraction, those cogs get worn down. In a riot situation, I would get the heck out of the area. The justice person inside of me would want to block the doors to prevent looting, but what is one against mobs.

I wouldn't loot, even if there were no chance of my being caught. Some people tend to forget that just because it's called "looting" doesn't mean that it's not violating the Eighth Commandment.

No. I would not loot. Looting is stealing. Stealing is wrong. Thou shalt not steal.
I would try to stay away from any riot or civil disturbance. People get hurt or shot in riots. Property owners may have guns and may use them to defend their property.

No looting. I'd be either too busy getting outta town, or too busy rioting--depending on the cause of the riot. ;-)

Absolutely not. I remember after Hurricane Katrina and seeing those idiots on the street looting those businesses after the devastation. They looked like complete morons and made that city look worse than what it already is (with the high crime rate).

I think I'd be too busy trying to escape. However, I would be tempted to take my neighbors obnoxious holiday flag set (you know the ones that have a flower for spring, a snowman for winter) and blame it on the looters.
