my computer doesn't play, record or recognize CD, DVD. HELP!!!?

Last week i was deleting some programs that i didn't think i used, but after that i couldn't play or do anything involving a cd. What can i do now???

If the items you deleted are still in the recycle bin, restore those that are not your document or download files.

GO to the CD's manufacturer's website and download the driver
