Long hair. More manageable to take care of. I can always put it up in a pony tail. But with short hair once it grows out you can't do much with it. Especially when it in the hot weather.

My hair is currently an inch or two past my shoulders, but I usually get it cut real short every so often. Once I get it cut I usually let it grow half way down my back again so I can get it cut and donate it to Locks of Love. There is a form to download and you bring it to a participating salon. Then they cut your hair for free.

my hair is short, but I think that long hair is the most common hair length.

Pretty long.
I think it depends what age group your talking about to see which is more common. Mom's usually have shorter hair for low maintenance reasons, younger girls have longer hair on average I think.

I have long hair. I am gonna get in trouble for this but remember this IS JUST MY OPINION!!!! I don't care for short hair on women. Sorry
