Undoubtedly, at least the neo-cons would. And Dick Cheney would have a downright wet-dream.

Magi 2000 is still buying into the lie that universal health care in Canada and Europe "ruined" those places, a myth created and perpetuated by the AMA, the AHA, and the pharmaceutical industry who stand to lose precious profits if everyone in America got good health care.

The fact is that although there are always exceptions, Canada and Europe have better health care, lower infant mortality rates, and longer life expectancies than Americans have.

And SlappyJK seems to be well named, and slappy as a pancake. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't read where you wrote that you support lawyers who file frivilous lawsuits, exploit victims (doctors & hospitals guilty of malpractice?), drive doctors and nursing homes out of business (why not their insurance companies?)... I agree that we need to get trial lawyers under control, but Slappy sounds downright paranoid.

In short, good question! Oh, and for those of you who can't recognize satire, metaphore and irony, it is obviously not to be taken literally.

Nope - not even then.
Why do you think we Conservatives actually CARE about Halliburton? I don't.
Ask Bill Clinton why he, a Democrat, gave them a no-bid contract if this is so wrong or bad for the USA...

Just because you are a conservative doesn't mean you think Halliburton hung the moon.

Conservaties are against socialism; you prefer to reward people for not contributing to society. If you want to cut the costs of health care, why do you support trial lwyers, who:
1) file frivolous law suits
2) exploit victims
3) drive insurance costs shky high
4) force doctors and nurding home to close or move
5) force doctors to perform needless operations and procedures

no because Halliburton is an oil field service provider not a Health care company

Conservatives won't be in favor of universal healthcare. PERIOD!

It ruined Canada (okay it was a contributing factor to the ruin of Canada), and has reaked havoc all over Europe.

BAD STUFF PEOPLE.
