I notice that a lot of people on here speak based on what others say. For example, 2 weeks ago a person will answer a question saying “Yes I agree Animals should have rights” and then today will say “an Animal is worthless and don’t need rights”.
So I am assuming some of you are extremely confused people who ONLY want to point out grammar and spelling mistakes, or you agree with what ever the more are saying.
I posted two other questions today and I sat here reading other things the “responders” have asked and answered in the past month, and it is truly amazing how opinions change in less then a week. (Not all of them).

I am only wondering why some people do that? And are you a follower or a leader?

I speak for my self, I give opinions that are based on what experiences Ive had and what information I'm familiar with...In the past I taught American and foreign military minor courses on equipment...Ive traveled most of the world (that Ive wanted to up to this point at least) and have seen how a lot of different people live...I was shot at as a kid in drug traffic, and helped those less fortunate than myself as an adult...if I feel I need to impress anyone on an online site, or in real life, with a conversation designed to make my life look better than it is...then I am in a sorry state. I am not so much a leader or a follower as I am a thinker. I owe no one less than they owe me...perhaps just a little respect, and the monetary debts Ive made to make my life feel more comfortable. I laugh at how some people seem to need this online site to demonstrate what knowledge they have based on internet searches (the endless stacks of useless facts to compare things from different eras) versus real life experience. Good question.

I always speak for myself, many times it's quite impressive as well.

People should point out gross grammar and spelling errors, though. Otherwise the writer may never improve in that area. Although, bad spelling/grammar does not invalidate someone's claim or question. Although, if they are having writing issues while trying to insult someone's intelligence, one must question what the accuser is basing it on.

For your second question:
I often fall into the position of leader, though I'd rather not be. But one thing is for sure, I'm not a follower.

I speak for myself and don't go along with the crowd. Actually, I never read the other answers until I have posted mine, but I know that some of the folks do this, just to get an idea of how to answer a question that they really know little about. They want to be part of the moral majority, so to speak. While a lot of my answers coincide with others, some of them do not. But I usually don't answer questions about things I don't know much about, or questions that are downright stupid.

If people are answering based upon what others want to hear, do you really think they are going to answer this question honestly or tell you what they think you want to hear? I speak from the heart, and often my answers are based upon my particular mood at the moment. I have given some nasty answers even though they were truthful and honest just because I was feeling angry. I just didn't answer them tactfully, and sometimes I do change my mind about certain things, depending on how the question is worded I guess. I'm so confused. hahaha ;-)

ooh good question.
When I'm with my family I speak for myself all the time. But there are times when I have to speak to impress i.e a job interview. But ya, some ppl on here will write a one/two word answer and its usually the answer everyone else is saying

I tend to land specifically on questions, other than plain old reference questions, that are oppositional to what my answer will be. I get a lot of thumbs down for that behavior. I have always spoken my own mind. I have paid dearly for that, too, all my life. But, it is sensible and good to speak up with your true voice.

I speak only for myself. I never have been one to go with the crowd. I am old enough and wise enough to do my own thinking. I may not always be right in my answers but I stand by my beliefs.
