Yes. Unless you're in a country that does not respect international conventions, copyright is created by operation of law (automatically) the moment the words are fixed in a medium from which they can be retrieved. Registration of the copyright is different, and requires affirmative action by the rights holder or their representative.

Hmm, I know original visual artwork is immediately copyrighted. Some phrases must be trademarked. This may fall under the latter. Check the government's website. It's complicated.

It depends on the country, but generally yes.

Uploading/posting the blog counts as publication (or being "fixed in a tangible medium" for US laws).

im not sure but from what i hear anything posted on a website is published so therefore copywritten
