Steven F. Austin University is right there in that part of the country. They have the best music education program outside of Boston or San Francisco in the U.S. Why don't you get on the University's Facebook or Myspace or even their music department's site and see if there are any kids home from Nacogdoches for the summer that might be willing to teach you.
The learning and teaching, not just the playing, would probably be pretty fresh in their minds. It's an awesome music school. And college kids are always looking for odd jobs.
It wouldn't even hurt to call the faculty and asks if they would be willing to refer anyone.
