There are basically two types of bettas. Crown bettas and veiltail bettas. It appears that yours is a veiltail and, maybe a marble or cambodian, it's hard to tell exactly. While your picture is a little fuzzy, from what I see, that is, lack of skin and/or fin problems, it appears you have a healthy betta. It's in a large tank vs. a bowl or those tiny kiddie tanks, so this is a very good home you have for it! Here's a link with a lot of pictures to help you learn a little more about your fish.

There are certainly far more than two types of betta tail types. Veil, halfmoon, delta, super delta, round and crown are the most common. I f you got yours at a pet store, odds are very strong it's a veiltail. It's really impossible to tell for sure unless the Betta is "flaring" or spreding his fins. As the the rest, it's certainly got some butterfly in it's background, but I wouldn't call it a butterfly, the color goes a bit too faar in it's fins. Most shows would classify that as a non red Multi color, meaning the majority of it's coloration is from non-red color sources and it has more than two colors on it's body. (colors on the fins don;t count for this classification.
And it looks perfectly healthy to me.

It looks like a veiltail to me. He's gorgeous...I have a halfmoon in the exact same colouring.
Yes, he certainly does look healthy. Congratulations.
There are quite a few strains of bettas: veiltails, halfmoons, crowntails, deltas, super-deltas, rosetails, combtails and so on. Here's a link to a page with descriptions of all these types of tails, including pictures of both male and female versions:

There's actually a picture on the page of a betta that kind of resembles Bubbles.

He looks healthy. Just keep the water clean and filtered. He looks like a male veiltail to me. Make sure his fins go out, etc -- you should notice something if he is not healthy. Good luck with him, very pretty!

Yes your beta looks quite healthy. As for the breed I would say that he is a common beta fish pink with halfmoon brown colouration (spots)

It looks like a regular viel-tail betta. His coloring is Red. He looks happy but a female would probably make him happier!!!
