There is no good time to be having unprotected sex and not get pregnant. There have been studies done that some women ovulate more than once a month. Sperm also stays alive for 3-5 days so you could still get pregnant....pull out method is no good either as pre-ejaculate contains sperm and you can still get pregnant.

I would use condoms or birth control or both. Having unprotected sex is never safe no matter what time of the month it is. Unless you want to get pregnant I wouldn't go without...I'm one of those people who only had sex once without a condom and I'm pregnant now...my husband and I were trying but if you are not I wouldn't do it!

If you have been struggling to fall pregnant, there are some useful tips that may help to increase your chances of conceiving and prevent miscarriages. Read here https://tr.im/pregnancyhelp
Follow a healthy, balanced diet by eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as foods that are rich in iron, calcium and folate, essential for reproductive health
Maintain a healthy weight as being overweight or underweight can affect the body’s hormone levels which in turn makes conception difficult
Healthy weight loss can increase chances of getting pregnant; however, too much weight loss can affect a healthy pregnancy
Regular exercise such as walking, swimming or cycling will help keep you fit and active before and during your pregnancy. It will also help get you back into shape after the pregnancy
Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine as this can make you less fertile

There is a system called the Standard Days Method. Day 1 (the first day of your period) to Day 7 are safe days-you can have unprotected sex. Then either no sex or use protection (a condom is 97% effective) on Days 8-19. You can have unprotected sex from Day 20- the first day of your period. My hubby and I have been using this method for 14 months and we are still childless.
And, I know someone that has been using it for 3 years and they have not gotten pregnant.

I would only suggest using this option if you are married, though. You should always use protection if you are not married.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/a276e

First of all, you shouldn't have put this in the "Trying To Conceive" section if you are not trying to conceive. Secondly, women can get pregnant at anytime in their cycles, although it's likely that you won't get pregnant unless you are fertile at that point in time. The best way to get not get pregnant is to use birth control and condoms.

Sorry hun but if you engage in intercourse you will always risk the chance of getting pregnant every time you do it. even with the pill or other contraception you will always have that risk, I have a 13 yr old as a result of birth control pills. there are 5 ways to insure no pregnancy falls on you they are, be a male, infertility, abstinence, tubal ligation with the tubes removed completely, and a complete hysterectomy, so unless you want to go those routs to avoid pregnancy, Keep your legs closed and don't put yourself in the situation to where you are pressured to in gage in intercourse.
