Bush for somehow approving the entire ordeal, and continuing to force it down or throats despite its disasterous results?

Chenney for being the true drivign force on this thing?

Or the republican party, whos enabled bush and/or chenney to continue this for so long?

Whos most responsible???

AND - do DEMS deserve applause for not being part of this...and merely criticizing these efforts and attempting to change them -- but never allowing repukes to hand over accountability of this mess in some form.
Because the sole responsiblity for IRAQ execution is and will continue to be on repukes shoulders?

you still have writersblock. I can criticize both parties. The United States would be strong enough to enforce a peace in Iraq if the Republicans had better leadership, and the dems could force us to win the war if they would drive for victory at the congressional level. They sure can't bring a successful conclustion with their current lack of a solution. Bush is a "lame Lame Duck" They are even running against him for president. Some leadership.

Of course, da Bush is the most responsible for this. He put all those neo-cons in power in his administration, including Cheney. They convinced him to invade Iraq, but as president, it was his decision. Cheney bears a lot of responsibility too, as does Karl Rove and the Republican party propaganda machine, and Fox News, for selling the invasion of Iraq to the American people.

Hillary Clinton and John Edwards voted to give Bush the authority to invade Iraq, and they damn surely knew he was going to do it.

Wait a minute, sparky.... The "surge" is working and we're winning this war. As much as that burns your fanny that's the truth. Try listening to the press conferences our commanders and troops on the ground have. Are you going to hold the Dems that voted for this war to your same sick standard?? I doubt it.

No. Pretty much all the politicians were equally inept.

Just don't blame the men and women who laid their lives on the line. It's not their fault our govt botched the orders they were given.

how about we blame the iraqi people for not stepping up. and remember, almost every single dem voted for military action. the dems problem is that they have no viable solution. that is the reason their rating is below president bushs'.
