Babies have very immature digestive systems. They begin to mature around 4-6 months of age and are for the most part mature by 12 months or so.
Some babies spit up and some don't. Some babies are gassier than others.
It's possible that it is the formula. It's also possible that it's just your baby's young digestive system. It's also possible that there is another issue such as reflux.
You should never switch formulas without consulting your pediatrician as a switch can sometimes upset baby's system more than staying with the same one.
Good luck.

Try burping your baby more frequently - even after every ounce if you need to. Also make sure the opening in the bottle's nipple isn't too large or small - if it's too large, the formula is rushing out and she's gulping it and swallowing air, too small and she's swallowing a ton of air while sucking. Anything that's on top of that air bubble is going to come right up when she burps.
If that doesn't work, or if the spit up is more like projectile, speak to her doctor about reflux. Many babies have it, and a simple prescription usually makes a big difference.
Changing her formula should be the last resort, and should not be done without speaking to her doctor first!! You don't want to confuse her tummy, and end up with a gassy baby full of explosive diarrhea.

Both of my girls (2 years & 5 months) spit up a lot. My oldest daughter did it untill she started table foods at about 8 months. My little one stopped on her own at 4 months. If your baby is very gassy & squirms a lot I would try the Enfamil Gentlease... it works GREAT. I used it on my little one untill I had to switch her to Similac Alimentum because she had allergies.

One thing that helps is to not lay your baby flat. Keep them sitting up slightly and don't lay them flat for about 30-45 minutes after eating. That's the advice my pediatrician gave us for my first one.

My pediatrian says a lot of times if you are feeding them to much they spit up. You might try to feed them less first.
Also make sure you burb them well

I would first talk to your pediatrician. It can't hurt to try different brands of formulas. You can try more or less iron, soy based formulas, etc. But FIRST talk to you pediatrician. Let them know your concerns.
