What is the best thing that can happen to this great nation?

we need a complete overhaul of our political system. One that allows an Average American to take part in the process. Currently only the rich can run. Or at best, those that are connected to the rich. We all know how out of touch the average rich person is with the average American.

We also need to put in motion rules regarding corruption that are punishable in a very quick and severe manner to eliminate the corruption that has infiltrated our government.

Regretfully, our nation is no longer salvageable. Generation after generation have come up to expect something for nothing, workers work hard, but have little to show for it. Families are split between work, school, and every other distraction. I love my homeland, I know my children will never know the freedom I now long for, simple things, getting onto a plane without a 3 hour wait. Mailing packages without ex-rays. Eating popcorn balls at Halloween. These days are gone. Now we just fight among our selves we put our selves above our nation. Butchers have more "rights" than the victims. What was once right, is now considered bigotry, warped is celebrated in all its ugly forms. Even our Children are not safe in school any more. I guess the best thing that can happen from this point on, will be the return of our Lord and Savior. Even so Come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen

We can in the next 12 months show the surge has significantly put the murderous thugs of al-qaida and the rest of the evil doers on the run. A new government will take power in Iraq that is more bent on getting things done than personal financial gain. A new deal between the US, the UN, Russia, EU, Fatah, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt will be the beginning of the new State of Palestine will be brokered by Tony Blair. And the Republicans will take back the Senate, House and keep the Presidency in November 2008. The Economy skyrockets and Democrats throw out the far left brigade including Howard Dean.
