I don't always have to be right. Plus I'm secure enough with our relationship that I don't feel like I loose face if I am wrong. If I'm wrong all I have to say is that I didn't see it that way and I was wrong. She drops it and it's over, we both move on with our life. If she is wrong, it's not a big deal. I drop it and we both move on. We both love each other and aren't in a contest with each other, we're on the same team.

I have no problem at all admitting that I don't know and/or am wrong. But when I believe that I am correct I will attempt to persuade others to see my side. And yes it's very possible for both parties to either be right or wrong.

The older I get the more I realize that most of the time it doesn't even matter. Usually I'll realize we are heading towards an argument, so I'll just say "It doesn't even matter to me". It diffuses the situation and we can go about whatever we're doing without the drama!

Few people enjoy being wrong or proven wrong. I don't like having to admit I was wrong, but I will do it...I try not to make a stand on anything unless I feel pretty confident that my view is the correct (or one of the correct) one(s).

I ALWAYS Have to be right. I try to have the last word all the time. Although lately I've been giving in for the sake of not fighting anymore.

No, most of the time it is not worth continually trying to be right- so I think yes, leave it at both can be wrong and both can be right sometimes.

To a large extent a successful relationship is founded on the fact that we don't always need to win even if we are right.

You need to understand that we guys often have rather fragile egos and that often we fear that if we're wrong, our wives will think less of us and be more inclined to find another man. Unrealistic as such fears usually are, most of us feel that way, and it's just much harder for us to admit error or defeat.

I know I am always right and sometimes I allow him to think he's right but he then eventually realizes he was wrong.

one does not always have to be right. its tempting to just drag the argument out forever, but its easier that you both agree to disagree and shake on it. someone has to yield, just knowing inside your mind, that you are right should be enough.
