Ok it says before I remove my power supply and put in a new one I have to remove the fan assembly. But the problem is, I dont know where the hell it is! I've looked inside the computer and haven't found anything thats matched the picture. Please help me. I know I have to unscrew the 4 screws in the back for the power supply. Is the fan assembly in the Power supply? I have a dell dimension 4600. Here is the website that tells for my system how to remove the fan assembly. Just click it at the top.

Thanks in advance.

There is a fan in the power supply, but that is not it.Don't have one to look at, but it is probably just below the power supply, and blocking the power supply from coming out.

I just did this on a 4600C. The fan is in the power supply. Just disconnect all the cables and remove the power supply. On mine you had to push down on the green button, then slide the supply towards the front of the chassis. It's held in by metal slide clips.

Not sure on the 4600, might be a bit different.
