I think the name Comet is kinda cool for a beta. Or you can try: Sam, Butch, Neptune, King, Leo, Barney, Bart, Copper, And Mercury <(great name for a red betta)

i named my fish Hannibal. after the movie bc he is 1 ugly fish. but he's smart and cool. ( he's not a beta. he's an all black goldfish with those really big eyes. yea i know) so also depends on their looks. naming them after food is fun or after movie characters????

I'm not trying to be mean, but really, who cares? A fish doesn't know it's name. It can't show you affection or love. Name is Fishy, that's as good as anything else.
