Bush blew a chance to strike a crippling blow to Al Qaeda by not sending enough troops into Afghanistan. We came very close to nabbing Osama, but he was helped to cross into Pakistan by people are military put their trust in. The invasion of Iraq will go down in history as one of the biggest foreign policy blunders in US history. Bush created more enemies than our troops have killed in Iraq, we have lost 4,000 American lives there, plus over 10,000 seriously wounded, and we have spent hundreds of billions of dollars.
Bush couldn't have done a better job of recruiting for Al Qaeda if he had tried. What a neocon idiot!

I think it's all part of Bush's plan.
Bush's big plan:
Catapulting the propaganda
"Iraq was behind 9/11 the whole time!"
"What Al Qaeda? Never heard of it!"
"Al Qaeda is an invention of the liberal media!"
"If we let them get stronger, then there will be more terrorists to kill!"

First of all, "war on terror" is just a handy slogan to advance govt. propaganda.
Secondly, this country has spent billions fighting the "war on drugs" and it hasn't decreased drug use by any measurable amount, especially when you look at the money spent compared to the results.
The only reason why Al-Qaida is stronger, is because of the war in Iraq. If Bush had kept his eye on the ball (eg: Afganistan/Pakistan and Osama), Al-Qaida would be very weak right now.

this war weakened our ability to fight a "Global War on Terror". The fact that Al Qaeda is getting stronger is proof of that. I am looking forward to 2008 when we finally get to have a "regime change"......

It means it's just a "win" for the GOP and all those no-bid contracts for defense contractors.
You don't get rich during 'peacetime'.
That's why they were complaining about Clinton when he was President. He didn't want to invade Iraq--like Daddy Bush did--and finish the job he started.

Yes... it beats me too... how?
The lemmings have so been sold the line of victory that they cannot see that they are being manipulated. Victory against an ideology doesn't include 160,000 military people.
Lemmings WAKE UP.

But heres th thing--I dont even know who to really blame anymore...
is it Bush, is it Chenney, or is it just the entire repuke party?
