Because right now, Bush and the GOP are so DESPERATE with the way things are heading, they believe that another 9-11 is just what they need to institutute martial law and take over the country.
I know you find this hard to believe, but look at what's going on with Sir Chertoff with his "gut-feeling" and a summer terrorist attack--and those blocks of processed cheese that they allegedly "found" with wires sticking out of it.
And the threat of terrorists doing dry runs in some of our major airports.
It's all leading up to something: The government staging another fake terror plot or--worse--launching a real one inside our own borders.
Just to keep people like you scared and in line.

I don't need Tin Foil Fez. I designed one of my own. To answer your question. Whenever things get a bit dicey for George he raises the terror alert. Even the most hardcore skeptic must wonder. Now that the call for his and Cheney's impeachment is getting louder you can't help but wonder what he's going to pull next.

Strange isn't it!! Airport security reports possible dry runs by terrorists and all the sudden Bush raised the terror alert to scare the American people and further his fight on terrorism!!!! I guess the Airlines are in on the conspiracy too !!!!! I wonder if Bush paid people to wrap cheese in duct tape and try and get it through security just to tick the Democrats off.....
